Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Hills Systems uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage items to make Hills Loop work and, only with your permission, to understand how visitors use the public website.

Your choices

You can choose Essential only or Accept analytics. You can change this choice at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer. Declining analytics does not stop you from browsing or opening Hills Loop.

Essential and functional storage

  • hills_web_language — a cookie that remembers your English or Kinyarwanda language preference for up to one year.
  • hills_shop_exposure — a short-lived cookie, up to 24 hours, used to avoid repeatedly showing the same shop preview.
  • hills_analytics_consent — a cookie, up to one year, that remembers your analytics choice.

Optional analytics storage

After you accept analytics, Hills creates a random browser identifier in local storage for up to 395 days and a session identifier that ends when the browser session ends. We use them to count page visits and actions such as shop-card clicks, download prompts, app-open attempts, confirmed app handoffs, and store fallbacks.

These events contain page and button context. They do not include your name, phone number, account credentials, or text you type into searches. We use this information to improve website discovery and the path into Hills Loop.
